Second Baptist Church 1100 North Frankfort Ave. Russellville, Arkansas On October 8th, Messengers from the 32 Arkansas River Valley Baptist Association Churches (and their invited guests) will convene at Russellville’s 2nd Baptist Church for the 88th ARVBA Annual Meeting. This year’s event will include all of the ‘usual’ content PLUS reports on on the many ministries conducted in the ARVBA this year. In addition to those reports, we will hear about new planned events and activities that will help strengthen and aid your church in its own ministries, both current and future. We are going to worship together as we have in years past as well as hear some of the best preaching anywhere. Bro. Richard Snyder will bring the Doctrinal Message during the afternoon session and Bro. Danny Green will bring the Annual Sermon in the Evening session. It’s going Down June 28-July 4 Lead by the ARVBA Missions Team This will be our fourth Association-led mission trip to KC and we learned a lot the previous three times around. For instance, it’s a lot more fun and a lot more successful when you have a lot more people! Last year we took 28 ARVBA’ers from 7 ARVBA churches and we hope to have at least that many again this year. That means that every member of every ARVBA church is encouraged to take part (The more we have, the more ministry we can do!) . AND, at only $75.00 per missionary, this may be the least expensive honest-to-goodness mission trip you will ever serve on! Sign up as a church group, a family, a couple or as an individual. You will not be sorry you did. Tentative plans are to leave Russellville Sunday, June 28th and return Saturday, July 4th. As stated, the cost is $75.00 to help defray missions expenses. You will also want to bring enough ‘spending money’ for two meals on the road and any snacks or other items you may wish to purchase. More information will be available soon but until then, Mark your calendars and sign up early!
