ARVBA Church Camp
June 10th - 14th
For years church leaders have heard that nearly nine out of ten Christians accept
Jesus as their Savior brfore the age of 18. If that statistic was accurate in the past, it
no longer depicts actual U.S. society.
When we see numbers like these, we are reminded of the importance of our annual
Associational Church Camp. Each year students in grades 3 through 12 have the oportunity to hear about Jesus, learn
about His love for all people, and the possibility of meeting Him on His own terms.
Even though we host a diverse range of ages, our Camp is amazingly age-graded.The Children (grades 1-4),
Middle-Schoolers
(grades
5-7)
and
Youth
(grades
8-12)
each
have
separate
Worship
and
Bible
study
facilities.
Lunch
and
dinner
are
staggered
with
the
children
arriving
at
the
cafeteria
first.
Swimming,
waterslide,
and
Paddle
Boat
times
are
divided
by
age
while
swimming
and
waterslide
times
are
divided
by
gender
as
well.
For
all
intents
and
purposes,
we host three seperate camps in one awesome week!
At $150.00 (includes the price of t-shirt) the cost to send your child to Camp is among the lowest anywhere. The
reason we are able to provide so much for so little is that each year a multitude of passionate volunteers accompany the
kids to Camp and expertly fill every position. From teachers to lifeguards, Worship Leaders to Preachers, no camper is
without the adult supervision and compassion each one deserves.

For
years
church
leaders

claim
that
nearly
nine
out
of
ten
Christians
accept

the

The current Barna study indicates that nearly half of all
Americans who accept Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord do
so before the age of 13 (43%). Another 21% accept Christ
between the ages of 14-18. Only 1 out of 8 born again
people (13%) made their profession of faith while 18 to 21
years old.
When we see numbers like this, we are reminded of the
importance of our annual Associational Church Camp.
Each year students in grades theough 12 have the
oportunity to learn about Jesus, His love for all people, and
