Arkansas Delta Missions Lead by the ARVBA Missions Team The cost for this week-long missions adventure is only $70.00! In March of 2015, 6 representatives from the ARVBA participated in one of NAMB’s Send Cities Vision Tours. After a whirlwind two-day adventure, our own vision began to take shape and a three-to- five-year partnership with the Kansas City Church Planters began. In August of 2017, the ARVBA sponsored a 5-day, 4 event mission adventure involving all our Recreation Ministry resources. The week was awesome and the ARVBA was never the same! For five years, we made the journey to KC providing carnivals, remodels, surveys, landscaping and much, much more. It was a glorious time for those involved but the time to move on had arrived. In 2023, we followed our heart to the Delta region of our home state. In July of that year, we partnered with churches and church planters to help reach the unreached and/or unengaged in that area. Vacation Bible School sprang up at one church while carnivals mysteriously appeared in different cities each evening. Church buildings were remodeled and re-roofed while certain specific areas set records for outreach event attendance. Even more opportunities presented themselves the following year and the ministries we can do are only limited by the number of ‘missionaries’ who tag along with us. We have a dedicated kitchen staff for our morning and noon-time meals and have all the hot-dogs and popcorn we can eat while working the events. The ARVBA/Delta Mission Trip is open to all ARVBA churches, their members, and any guests they might invite. The cost is only $70.00 per person and the destination is only 3ish hours away.
